For the biscuits
500g plain flour
125g icing sugar
For the bay leaf sugar
2-3 dried bay leaves
Place the flour, icing sugar and orange zest in a large bowl. Rub in the butter to form a breadcrumb like mixture, then gather together into a soft dough. Form into a large rectangular shape, wrap in cling film and chill in a refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out to 1cm thick and use a circular cutter of your choice.
Select Fan Plus 160°C on a Miele Oven and cook the biscuits for 25 minutes until lightly golden.
