Wanting to create restaurant style dishes in the comfort of your home or keen to expand your cooking repertoire? We are delighted to share with you a collection of short films entitled, the 'Miele Perfection Series', which we hope will inform and inspire you. Our fantastic executive chefs, Sven-Hanson Britt and Douglas McMaster along with Martin Major have created unique recipes, using carefully sourced produce and our latest, high performing appliances.
An advocate of cooking in season produce, Sven is currently renovating his restaurant, Hardley Hill Farm and truly believes that provenance is fundamental to achieving exceptional taste. An expert in British, seasonal ingredients and hand rearing livestock, Sven demonstrates in the 'Perfection Series' that the secret to well-cooked tender meat and flavoursome vegetables lies in the precision that our Gourmet Sous Chef warming drawer and steam combination ovens offer. From exact temperature controls, and with humidity levels constantly maintained, our ovens help to ensure that there is no loss of flavour, texture or freshness while cooking.
Head chef and owner of SILO in Brighton and CUB in London, Douglas McMaster is passionate about reducing food waste and has developed a specialised approach to food that results in innovative, full of flavour dishes that produce no waste, are sustainable and environmentally friendly. His appliance of choice in the 'Perfection Series' is our induction hob, which provides fast heat up times, precise temperature controls and even heat distribution allowing Douglas to achieve the consistently beautiful results he desires.
Trained in classic French cuisine and with a passion for British seafood, Martin Major believes that when it comes to preparing food, having appliances that you are able to control and trust to be at the correct temperature is vital. This is demonstrated in his 'Perfection Series' film and exquisite Bass Bouillabaisse where by the Miele induction hob and oven allow him to produce fish that is perfectly cooked with a full of flavour sauce.
