Sous Chef Chocolate Fudge

This easy chocolate fudge recipe is a great one to make as a gift for a loved one


500g chocolate (either dark or milk)

1tbs butter

1tsp vanilla essence

Can of condensed milk (395g)


  1. Melt the chocolate in the Miele Food Warming Drawer at 85°C for 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, melt in a saucepan, stirring gently until melted.

  2. Once melted, add the butter, vanilla essence and condensed milk and mix well.

  3. Leave the mix in the warming drawer at the same temperature, stirring 3 or 4 times occasionally. The consistency should thicken on each stirring. If using an induction hob, set to level 6 and stir until everything has combined and thickened. At this point, you could add dried fruits or chopped nuts to flavour the fudge if desired.

  4. After 2 hours, transfer the mixture into a lined Tupperware container and put in the fridge to cool and set.

  5. Once cooled and firm, cut into cubes and enjoy.
